Play Dragon Age In Your Browser

Dragon Age is planned to hit the flash-supported browser scene sometime before the release of Dragon Age: Origins in November.

If you haven't gotten enough Draco Age after reading the novels and playing the indite-and-newspaper game, and you've already created your character and watched the set up trailer, Ea 2D, a company whose "delegation [is] to create blockbusters for the browser" has got something unweathered for you to chew on (wasn't that prison term link-tacular?). Dragon Age Journeys: The Large Roads is a flash-based tactical browser RPG set in the Flying lizard Age world and created with the endorse of BioWare.

In development since November 2008, The Deep Roads will be the world-class of three currently planned chapters, and is set for let go in October according to the official website, where you can watch a pretty neat drone too. I could have put the trailer here, but I suchlike this silver screen better because it shows that the game is hex-based, rather than some kind of action-risky venture title like it appears to be in the trailer. When it comes right down to that, inside information along the gameplay are still scant, but we should see more very soon. We do know a bit bit about the story though: IT will cover the "dwarven city of Orzammar and the Deep Roads surrounding it where the dwarves face a haunting scourge from the darkspawn hordes."

Normally, I would stay 10-feet away from something like this, using a 10-foot pole as a reference, but overdue to the IP involved I testament make an exception. Dragon Age: Origins is set to follow the best RPG in a while, as I know from about 6 hours of play experience, so I'll give all but anything Dragon Age a try. I'm even planning to buy the day one DLC, American Samoa much A I wish it was free. Plus, all of these talented dudes are working on Journeys according to the BioWare Blog:

The leading force behind The Abysmal Roads is Daniel Stradwick, creator of the excellent flash rpg series Fiend's Den. Art and animation has been created by the illustrious Robert Adam Phillips of Bitey Castle renown. Additional programming is being done by Andrew Sega, who created the Magic the Gathering inspired flash card games Mytheria and the multiplayer Armour Wars. The story is being confined by first time game writer Marcelo Poppi. You'll see more about them and the talented team at Ea 2D in future posts.

If Dragon Age: Journeys is half as cool arsenic EA 2D's logo, I'm sold.
